Will DC concede WTO to Moscow's vote againt Iran?

Russia ready to make a deal on Iran.
  • Kommersant reported that the Kremlin has made it known that if Washington removes the objections that are keeping Russia out of the WTO, Moscow will be prepared to make several concessions on the problems that are the biggest thorns in America 's side: North Korea and Iran.
Russia warns against military action against Iran.
  • Haaretz reported that Russian president Vladimir Putin denounced any military operation against Iran in a meeting last week with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

  • Toronto Sun reported that the swift move to penalize North Korea for its nuclear test could clear the way for punishing Iran over its disputed nuclear program, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said yesterday. "It really does help to create a momentum."
  • Iran Focus reported the brother of Iran ’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei announced that he had registered to stand in the upcoming Assembly of Experts polls.
  • Lisa Benson, Townhall published a cartoon: Ahmadinejad cooking up more trouble.
