NATO is pledging to airlift 5000 more troops to the AU (African Union) by July 1, 2005. Of course, they made it clear that this did not abrigate any relations with the EU, read France.

NATO is pledging to airlift 5000 more troops to the AU (African Union) by July 1, 2005. Of course, they made it clear that this did not abrigate any relations with the EU, read France.
The African Union has ruled out Western troops helping in Darfur, but in April called on NATO and the EU to assist with logistical support.Would someone please explain to them that NATO IS the USA! Talk about gratitude. You can read the article here.
