Day of Remembrance: Iran and Ours, Together

As I wrote on July 6, " Press: Get those cameras rolling!", let us take some time out of our busy schedules to remember the 17 people who were brutally murdered, the hundreds that were injured, and the thousands that were jailed; because they tried to demand a democratic form of government. What a crime!

I am so thankful that I am an American. I pray for the people in Iran (and all other countries). I pray your aspirations for freedom and democracy are fulfilled very soon. I also pray for all the political prisoners to be unharmed and freed. Sooner rather than later.

It would mean a lot to the people you haven't met yet if you would write about their plight. Many of them do not have a voice. You can be that voice for them. It isn't too hard. You do not have to be elogant or wise. All you need--really need--is to care.

Please care enough to think outside of yourself. Think of all the freedom you have that others do not. Please don't deny those who do not those freedom your time and your heart. Write about them. Tell the world. Don't let the people forget. Thank you, and have a nice day.
