September 17, 2006 Rally in NYC

On September 17, there will be a rally to support the people of Darfur, Sudan. The fighting goes on, and the UN is doing nothing about the genocide. We must act now. There have no more time.

Here is an e-mail I received. It's okay. Please, sign it.
On Sep 17th, people worldwide will take part in the Global Day for Darfur to show support for the people of Darfur and to urge UN and our governments to accelerate the implementation of UNSC resolution 1706.

Rallies will be held at the United Nations and in the major cities around the globe.

Please join the rally wherever you are and do not forget to wear a blue hat and a blue shirt (and/or a green wristband). In case you can not physically join the rally anywhere, you can join by adding your voice in the following petition:

Add my name to the Day for Darfur campaign

Thank you for all your support to end this scurge from the earth. Slavery must be elimated. Torture, rape, government starvation, and brutal genocide must be defeated. After this rally, DO NOT LET THEM FORGET.

That is what was done last time. I looked for more, but there was none. This time, I will not wait on them. There will be more, if I have to come up with it myself. God bless all of you who have stood by us. I pray you will continue to stand for the Darfurians after the lights go out...
