New US Diplomatic Initiative in Middle East.
  • The Sunday Telegraph reported that America has launched a week-long, high-stakes diplomatic offensive for control of the Middle East , rallying allies against Iranian influence sweeping through the region.
  • FOXNews.com reported that Vice President Dick Cheney arrived Saturday in Saudi Arabia for talks with King Abdullah on Iran.
Did Russia begin delivering Tor M1 anti-aircraft missiles to Iran?
  • RIA Novosti reported that Russia 's state-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport dismissed as false the media reports that it had begun delivering Tor M1 anti-aircraft missiles to Iran.
  • The Telegraph reported Iran has begun reinforcing its nuclear facility defenses with Russian missile systems designed to thwart missile attacks, it was confirmed yesterday. The first of 29 Tor-M1 mobile air defense systems have been delivered to Iran.
