- Reuters reported that Iran's top nuclear official said Iran will not suspend its uranium enrichment work as demanded by a U.N. sanctions resolution.
- Thomas Friedman, The New York Times argued that Iran's greatest weakness may be its addiction to oil.
- WorldNetDaily.com reported that a US intelligence company claimed Israel is making good on threats to stop a nuclear bomb by assassinating a top Iranian nuclear physicist involved with the Islamic Republic's current effort to enrich uranium. [Come on. Do we really need all of this anti-Jewish crap? Show me the proof. Where is the proof? In your head?]
- Newsweek International reported that Iran clearly seeks to lure Turkey away from its traditional moorings to the West, and the Kurds may be just the wedge they need.
